A quick note for new members about how the gear hire process works!
We have a group of volunteers who kindly open up the shed on demand - this means that you will need to contact the rostered volunteer prior to turning up to ensure someone will be there. The current list and volunteer contact details can be found here.
You'll need to arrange this with the volunteer the day BEFORE at the latest. Please turn up at the specified time, i.e. if the volunteer says 1800 - 1830 that means they wish to LEAVE at 1830 and you need to be there at 1800 (they won't wait around if you are late).
Unless agreed otherwise with the volunteer or a committee member, gear needs to be returned the following evening as others may wish to use it. All gear needs to be properly washed in fresh water, if it's not possible to do this before returning then we have a wash-down station in the club shed.
The UWAUC Club Shed is located underneath the UWA Watersports Centre - follow the driveway through the main car park to the smaller car park in front of the boat shed. We are behind door number 3.
