Thanks to everyone who came along to the UWAUC Pub Quiz fundraiser on Tuesday 22nd August at the UWA Tavern. We had 9 teams enter and managed to raise a grand total of $756 to go toward alteration work for our boat trailer, so we can go on trips at more decent speed on the roads without wobbles!
Congratulations to the 'Boat People', who won the first prize of a trip to Rotto on Chromodoris, and 'Poiseidon's Maelstrom' who scored $120 of Flipside vouchers for coming in second.
Big thankyous to Jess Kolbusz for organising the event including venue/questions/prizes, and of course a big shout out to our friends at Arc Subsea and Dive Unlimited for generously donating voucher prizes, and to Nik for his big contribution of not one but three shiny new dive torches for the raffle. Cheers also to those who donated other prizes such as wine, food/drink vouchers, books etc. Hopefully we can do it again next year!
