Hello fellow UWA Crew,
A few of us are heading down to Logue Brook Dam/Lake Brockman (about an hour and a half south of Perth near Waroona) on the weekend 24/25 of August for a couple of days of fresh water diving and checking out the scooter trail in the dam. We’ll be camping over night at the Lake brockman tourist park (11$ person/night, staying in the Zamia campground), it has pretty good facilities, with gas BBQ’s, toilets, BBQ shelters. All diver levels are welcome from OW, AOW, Tech and rebreather as well as family/friends/pets.
The plan is to dive Saturday at Logue Brook Dam (although this is subject too change), camp over night at the Lake Brockman tourist park, Dive Logue Brook Dam again on Sunday and then get a pie at the Pinjarra Bakery in Waroona on the way home. Its an interesting site with depths down to 35m, a few large tree stumps, Marron, a few fish and best of all no need to wash your gear at the end of it.
