UWAUC are going on an Easter road trip!

The club will be heading down to Albany over Easter weekend to check out some of the fantastic diving around the bay.

Two of the main attractions are the wrecks of the HMAS Perth and the whaling ship Cheynes III, with various other options available including shore dives depending on what the weather is doing – dive with the New Zealand fur seals, or even try to get lucky with spotting sea dragons.  http://divealbany.com.au/htdocs/index.php/charters/divesites

The boat will be heading out on Saturday and Sunday at the minimum (weather permitting), with a good chance of taking her out on the Friday too. There’ll be some BBQ action and also in all likelihood a winery or two over the course of the weekend.

Cost of the trip will be $300, which includes a 3-night stay at the backpackers. If you would rather organise your own accommodation you can do so, in which case it’s $175 for the trip.

Transport is up to you, but there will be plenty opportunity for car pooling…once people are signed up we’ll set up an online group to arrange this.
