UWAUC Annual Christmas in July Weekend - this year at Rottnest!!

This year we'll be heading West instead of North for our Christmas in July party weekend. Traditionally this has been the club's chance to head over to Rottnest and enjoy the island, not as a dive location, but as somewhere to either hunker down and be cozy amidst the storms or wander around by foot or bike and enjoy the scenery - depending on the weather.

Oh, yeah, and maybe enjoy a drink or two. This is a Uni club, after all!

This year, instead of putting ourselves all the way down at Kingston Barracks we're up near the primary school. About a 5 minute walk north from the settlement. Close to the pub, close to easy food, close to the Basin and Pinkies if anyone feels like a swim. We've booked two of the bungalows based on the EOIs I received a while ago which are next door to each other and will sleep up to 18.

You can rock up any time on the Friday after 1400hrs, and we need to be out of the houses by 0900hrs on the Sunday. The trip fee - a whopping $110 - includes your accommodation, your breakfasts and a barbecue dinner on the Saturday night. The rest (including getting to the island) is up to you.

To keep things simple and so the skippers going to this can have a holiday too, Tantabiddi will not be joining us. So you're welcome to bring your own boats over or do like the rest of us and catch the ferry.
