UWAUC Top Ten

As a UUC member, it is your responsibility to:

1. Dive within your limits.
2. Follow safe diving practice.
3. Dive within no decompression limits!
4. Make a safety stop.
5. Surface with 50 bar in your tank.
6. Dive with the correct equipment
   
   • BC, reg, computer or timepiece and dive tables.
   • Surface marker bouy (safety sausage)
   • Know how to use it (ask for help if needed)
   
   
7. Wash hire gear down in fresh water after each days diving.
8. Check your gear and fills before you leave the clubroom.
9. Ask for Help!
   • Unfamiliar BC or computer? Ask for help!
   • Forgotten how to read your tables? Ask for help!
   • Unfamiliar procedures on the boat or in the clubrooms? Ask for help!
10. Offer to help!
    • The UUC is run by volunteers: the more volunteers, the better the Club.
