The details for the liveaboard with Wasage Divers (www.wasagedivers.com) have been finalised and are below.
Wasage divers have been kind enough to create this liveaboard for us but I have asked them to also put it on their website, so it is also open to the public, this means if we get 10 or more people from UWAUC we will get a discount, if we don't, we will not get a discount BUT it means the trip can still run if other people book on (min number of people is 6, max is 12). The standard price will be Rp 8.100.000 per person for the 6 day trip (this is around $1000 AU)
We do not have any places reserved so if you would like to come get in quick!
To make this easier on everyone (ok mostly me) it is up to you to book all elements of this trip, this also allows everyone to be more flexible (see details below about getting started on booking)
Wasage divers and I have devised the following possible itinerary
Fri 10 Dec: Depart Perth with Air Asia. Arrive Bali. Depart Bali with Air Asia to Makassar, Stay overnight.
Sat 11 Dec: Depart Makassar at 9.00 with Express Air. Arrive Wanci at 11.00. Airport pick up and transfer to Liveaboard.
Day 1 of LOB Trip starts. Have lunch. Start diving - 2 dives.
Sun 12 Dec: Day 2 of LOB trip. 3 dives
Mon 13 Dec: Day 3 of LOB trip. 3 dives
Tue 14 Dec: Day 4 of LOB trip. 3 dives
Wed 15 Dec: Day 5 of LOB trip. 3 dives
Thurs 16 Dec: Day 6 of LOB trip. 3 dives
Fri 17 Dec: Check out of LOB at 7.30am. Transfer to Wanci Airport. Depart on Express Air flight at 10.30. Arrive Makassar 13.00.
Depart Makassar on Air Asia flight at 16.50. Arrive KL 20.00. Depart KL on Air Asia flight at 23.50.
Sat 18 Dec: Arrive Perth at 05.20
It sounds complicated and time consuming but the flights will be cheap if booked soon and it will be worth it to get there!!Tom and I will also be staying a few extra nights on one of the islands so contact me if your interested in doing this.
We will need to book our flights to Makassar and then Mohini from Wasage divers will help us with the rest.
Ok, How to reserve your place:
You will need to email Mohini from Wasage divers <info@wasagedivers.com> with the following information:
o Full Name (make sure you also say you are with UWAUC)
o Age
o Email and telephone number
o Address
o Diving License classification and number of logged dives
Also please cc me in this email so I know you are coming,
Mohini will then email you individually and you will need to pay a 20% deposit to confirm their booking.The deadline to do this is the 12th of September. If less than 6 people have signed up by the deadline date then they will return the 20% deposits in full and/or offer an alternative (eg. diving from one of the islands insted), otherwise the deposit is non refundable.
